I am feeling incredibly grateful today. Last week on my birthday my brother surprised me with not one, but 2 exquisite Clare Haggas scarves, and let me tell you, they are pure works of art!

The vibrant colours and intricate designs instantly stole my heart because if there's one thing I adore, it's the fusion of art, nature and fashion! But what makes these scarves even more special is the beautiful connection they hold.

Clare Haggas shares a similar journey of recovery from alcohol as myself.

You see, 2024  marks 10 years of sobriety for me. It's been a journey filled with challenges and triumphs, and every day I'm grateful for the strength to walk this path.

As always my brother puts a lot of thought into presents (much more than me)  and makes heart touching connections (I’d never think of). Clare Haggas shares a similar journey of recovery from alcohol as myself. In November she will have 12 years of sobriety. Her story resonates deeply with me, reminding me of the power of resilience, hope, that emerges from darkness. As well as the continued journey of creativity and my love of beauty, sobriety has enabled me to pursue.

As I wrap myself in these gorgeous pieces, I'm reminded of the endless possibilities that come with healing.

These scarves aren't just accessories; they're symbols of resilience, reminders of the beauty that blooms from the depths of struggle. Today, as I wrap myself in these gorgeous pieces, I'm reminded of the endless possibilities that come with healing and the infinite beauty that surrounds us when we open our hearts to gratitude and growth.

In sobriety resilience is key and facing life on life's terms. Life is hard and as much as I am celebrating my journey with others, my amazing brother is facing cancer. Being sober today gives me the gift of being able to be here for him in his hour of need. Recovery gives me the gift of being present in the moment with grace, acceptance and trusting in the strength of God.

Here is to celebrating milestones and embracing beauty, and cherishing the journey.

So thank you, Clare Haggas, for not only creating stunning art but also for being a beacon of inspiration on the path to recovery and sharing your story. Here's to celebrating milestones, embracing beauty, and cherishing the journey every step of the way!
